Leianne Carr, Speech-Language Pathologist and owner of Children's Therapy Solutions, began her private practice with the purpose of providing the most effective and highest quality speech and feeding therapy available to the families of Burleson, Joshua, Crowley, and the surrounding areas.  Her goal is to help children improve their speech and increase their feeding skills in order to enhance their independence, self-confidence, and socialization.  She believes collaboration with family, other professionals, and the community is imperative to meeting and exceeding each child’s communication and feeding goals.

 

Leianne has over 21 years experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist, which has given her the expertise in providing exceptional speech and feeding therapy to children with varying disorders and levels of severity. Her experience includes working in the public schools, private and charter schools, private practice, outpatient therapy clinics, rehabilitation hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, early childhood intervention, pediatric home health, and adult home health. She has performed diagnosis and treatment of disorders related to orofacial myology, traumatic brain injury in children and adults, pediatric and adult feeding disorders, apraxia of speech, receptive and expressive language disorders, reading and literacy, auditory processing disorders, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), fluency and  voice disorders, aphasia, and pragmatic language disorders in infants, pre-school children, and school-aged children. 

 

Leianne is a Texas State Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). She is on the board of directors for the House of Hope for Autism, located in Burleson and has received specialized training in the following:
